Sam Hoffman, 19

The Chip for Charity is held each year in honor of Sam Hoffman a 19 year old boy and son of a ProShip, Inc. employee, who has been diagnosed with Succinic Semialdehyde Dehydrogenase Deficiency (SSADH). SSADH Deficiency is a rare metabolic disorder characterized by the lack of the enzyme involved in the degradation of GABA, thus affecting the brain and the central nervous system.

ProShip, Inc. teaming up with the SSADH Association has raised nearly $800,000 for the SSADH Association, a non-profit,501(c)(3) voluntary organization dedicated to helping children and families affected by SSADH. The Association is committed to the treatment of SSADH through education, advocacy and research.

Please consider joining us for next year’s event. For additional information about the Chip for Charity, please visit the website at www.chipforcharity.com.
